For the longest time I stayed far away from Daz and Poser-type tools.  I didn't think it was real art, I mean, everyone else does the hard part right? And I still struggle with that idealogy, but honestly I don't have the time any more to do all the hard parts myself.  At the very least it's comparable to photography.  Lights, Pose, Fix, Camera, Fix, Hair, Clothes, Shoes, Fix, Background, Fix, Save, Restart Daz (because the smoothing broke again) and finally render! Then you go through and fix it all again and again until you get something you're mostly happy with and that doesn't try to kill your computer at render time. Art? Debatable. Fun
